The Millfields Trust has donated £1000 to a local primary school, taking it well beyond the £1 million milestone mark it has ploughed into and invested in the local community of Stonehouse. This is a remarkable achievement which is being celebrated by a Trust with volunteer Directors and a small staff team.

Union Street's Growing places!

This week has seen the installation of Plymouth's first living wall, and it is on our new building Genesis. The 18,600 individual plants have been fitted to six living wall strips, by staff from Biotecture.  The shrubs will be fed and watered by a hydrophonics system, conrolled by computer from Biotecture's headquarters and trimmed twice a year.  Next summer, our wall will erupt into colour as flowers bloom, attracting insects and birds.
