Position  Maintenance Manager/ Full time/ Permanent
Location  Stonehouse Plymouth
Salary  £30,000 pa


The Role
To be responsible for the maintenance and health and safety of the Trust’s premises and estate.   The role will involve hands on day to day maintenance, and supervision and management of appointed contractors.


Key Skills required:
• Excellent maintenance skills with a track record of having worked in a similar role
• Good organisational skills
• IT literate
• Proven success at implementing Health and Safety systems.
• Excellent supervision and negotiation skills and an ability to relate to people on all levels
The organisation
The Millfields Trust is Social Enterprise that is at the forefront of a movement to promote sustainable solutions to the regeneration of communities and allow local people to drive forward the process.  The Trust’s main activities are the provision of managed workspace that provide a platform to enable small and medium sized enterprises to grow and develop.
Surpluses are used to promote long term change in the community by investing in our sister charity Millfields Inspired. The charity runs a programme entitled Widening Horizons which works with year 5 children in our seven local primary schools.
