Service Administrator role
This is a new role to help support an exciting new service called “Hear to Inform and Support” which is being funded by the Big Lottery. Supporting the Project Co-ordinator and the local team in the establishing the new service, recruiting, training and supporting volunteers; liaising and working with other local voluntary agencies; supporting local groups and activities to become “hearing loss” friendly; and setting-up new information and support hubs in more rural and isolated communities in Devon and Cornwall. This is a five-year project where we can really make a difference to people in Devon and Cornwall by supporting them and their families/friends/carers to recognise and manage their hearing loss, participate in local activities that are welcoming and “hearing friendly”, reduce social isolation, and help to improve confidence and maintain independence.
