Merry Christmas from Millfields Trust, Millfields Inspired & Makers HQ
Welcome to our Winter Newsletter 2022
Christmas Opening Hours
Closed from 23rd December 4:30pm
Opening on 3rd January 2023
Thank you!
In light of the cost-of-living crisis, coupled with the run-up to the festive season, more than ever our food banks need donations. We set up 2 donation points: one in the HQ kitchen and the other in office 8 Genesis building for the month of November. Our chosen recipients were Plymouth Foodbank.
We’ve had so many food bank donations the last few weeks. We cannot thank our tenants enough for all the generous donations! We will be delivering them early next week.

News
Take a look at this Facebook live video with Amerie who is Network Coordinator and Activator at PSEN and is talking with our Chief Executive Josanne Stewart talking all about Millfields Trust and Millfields Inspired for social enterprise day 2022. |
Celebrating Social Enterprise week in Plymouth was a super busy start for us with a whole day of events on the 16th, ending with a great turnout for our AGM in our HQ Building last night. Despite the weather, we were pleased to host 60 plus members, directors, tenants, local residents and businesses from Stonehouse. Our first AGM under the direction of our new Chief Executive, Josanne Stewart.
We enjoyed presentations from Donna Howard, Karst and Victoria Pomery from The Box Plymouth who are proud hosts to the British Art Show 9 in Plymouth, thank you for such informative presentations. We would also like to thank our very own tenants Paul from The Fitness Store (Broadway Sports) for the live music and David from the The Muscle Clinic Remedial & Sports Massage Plymouth who astounded us with his mentalism tricks! And our wonderful food hot chilli and stew provided by our pub, The Lord High Admiral. Keeping it all local in our community of Stonehouse!
Our AGM was a great success where we had the opportunity to share our future projects, our success, our challenges and our thanks to all.

During Social Enterprise Week we had our ‘Celebrating Women in Business’ networking event, to celebrate women in business as part of Plymouth Social Enterprise Festival Week!
We wanted to say a huge thank you to our guest speaker Laura Horton. It was lovely to hear your story, it really inspired us.
We hope that everyone who attended had a great time and networked with new people from across the city. Well done to the lucky winner of the goodie bag containing a signed copy of Laura’s book.
Thank you to our partners Social Enterprise Mark CIC and Plymouth Social Enterprise Network.
Welcome to our Annual Review
