Jeremiah’s Journey: Charity Golf Day

Head down to Paradise Island Adventure Golf on Friday the 14th of April 2023 between 12pm-5pm and play a round of golf, have some drinks and food! There will be a raffle and in game prize competitions throughout the day.

Exim Dance: Cracking Day in the Park

Come and join us for a ‘Cracking Day in the Park’ on Wednesday 5th April 1-4pm at North Down Park. There will a variety of partner organisations offering their fantastic activities for all to enjoy including Wicketz Plymouth,Plymouth Parkour, Exim Dance Company,National Marine Aquarium, Haidee Dampney and her Wellbeing Warriors, Plymouth Sports Charity, 1st Keyham St Mark Scout Group and much more. We are also having a silent disco in the park! Just bring yourselves, your picnics, your dancing shoes and some sunshine for an afternoon of fun to include EVERYONE!

Shekinah: Foraging

A gentle walk connecting with nature and discovering the wide range of interesting plants growing and their uses. All are welcome to this free workshop to learn what is in season and how to identify and harvest wild food safely.

Royal William Yard: Murder, Music and Moonshine

Sneak into our speakeasy bar, the Blind Pig, where live music plays, illicit cocktails flow, and the intriguing story of Iron Mike – the man who wouldn’t die – plays out around you…

Coming to Royal William Yard this May and June is a theatre production like no other. The Many Deaths of Michael Malloy is an immersive comedy musical by Plymouth playwright Richard Johnson, with songs by award-winning Hollywood composer Rolfe Kent. 

Taking place in the the Yard’s historic Melville building, this intoxicating new production invites you to take your seat in a 1930s prohibition-era bar, smell the whisky-soaked floorboards, sway to the live band, and let the story unfold.

Nudge Community Builders: Awakening – Folk and Funk Night

Welcome to folk night! A friday evening filled with folk vocalists and bands.

There will be local duo Cat Rose and Jon Fazal supporting ten piece band Cuckoo Collective. Warm up support acts will be there to give you a taste of folk in Stonehouse.

Doors open at 7pm and the bar will close at 10.30pm (the bar will be a cashless bar)

Exim Dance: Family Movement Sessions

Family Movement Sessions are perfect for children under 4 accompanied by an adult. The group is a welcoming and supportive environment where children are able to socialise with new people and keep active.

The next upcoming dates are: Monday April 17th and Monday May 22nd – 10am – 11am.

Union Corner Collage Workshop

During this 2hrs session you will experiment with pasting and glueing variety of found mixed media material to create your own surreal landscape using hand torn papers, pieces of fabric, thread, tissue, discarded material found in your recycled bin, cardboard, old photographs and much more.

All materials and refreshment provided, however we ask you to look around your house, old photo albums, boxes with old wrapping paper, scraps of paper found in your drawers, like old holiday tickets, festival tickets, leaflets etc… and bring it with you- it will make sentimental and valuable addition to your artwork as each piece carries certain memories.

Royal William Yard/South West SUP – Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

Royal William Yard and South West SUP are teaming up to offer stand-up paddle boarding lessons with qualified and experienced instructors and all the equipment you will need. There will be 1-2-1, group sessions and hire available on request alongside social paddles on Thursday and Sunday mornings from Firestone Bay. It’s a great opportunity to see the yard’s stunning and historic architecture from the water. You can book directly through South West SUP.

Leadworks Plymouth – Open Mic Night

Leadworks Open Mic Night will be back on the first Sunday of every month starting in February. Come and watch your local talented artists! Starting at 6:30 pm – late. Message Leadsworks to secure a slot!

Picking up some sewing skills this year? Or perhaps looking to meet some new people… maybe both!
Join us at The Plot every Thursday from 11-3pm to help make seating for The Millennium Building.
So far there’s one of twenty creations made for the auditorium with an aim to make the building comfy for events.

All are welcome to the Plymouth Women in Business Lunch on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

Your Partnerships are so excited that Clair Wellsbury-Nye and Laura Greenland are leading a monthly Women in Business two-course lunch. This is a wonderful time to gather some of the most talented women from Plymouth and beyond, and build powerful connections to help each other.

Mark Fielding Portrait Clinic

A great way to brush up on your portrait drawing skills in the Real Ideas Cafe at Ocean Studios. This weekly class allows you to draw portraits in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Please bring your own drawing materials.
There are 6 places per event, please book to avoid disappointment.

Plymouth Scrapstore: Gladrags

GladRags started meeting in Stonehouse in 2013 to make rag rugs.

Members were soon making colourful decorations for community events and projects, using scrap fabrics and natural materials in a variety of crafts.

The group continues to meet in a member’s house. Now, thanks to the Scrapstore (one of our favourite places), there is also the opportunity to return to Stonehouse.

Sessions are free, but donations towards refreshments welcome and there will be the usual Scrapstore charges for materials

Come along and join in with one of our craft projects, bring your own work, learn new skills and share what you know

The Lord High Admiral: Weekly Menu and Events

The Lord High Admiral has a range of events and menu’s throughout the week – no matter what food you enjoy or the music you want to listen to, The LHA will have a day filled with everything you love!

Mondays: Burger Night – 17:00 to 20:45
Tuesdays: Curry Night – 17:00 to 20:45
Wednesdays: Knead Pizza Takeaway
Thursday – Saturday: Pub Grub – 17:00 to 20:45
Sundays: Roast Time – 12:00 to 18:00

7.30pm start, 6 people max per team, £2 per person

It’s best to book your table in advance as our quiz nights often get very busy!

Fridays – Double D Fridays:
16:00 – 23:00
Every Friday, when ordering any drink, customers can roll 2 dice for a chance to win something – this could be a snack, hot food from the kitchen or even 50% off the order! However, every roll also comes with a risk! Rolling a double 6 means you have to buy the bartender a drink as well.
