We offer flexible tenancy terms to suit your business needs, longer contracts for security or leases with just one calendar months’ notice.  We meet your business  changing requirements.

With operational expertise and customer service skills, our on-site team is here 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday to provide everything you need to keep your office running smoothly

Private Offices from £165+ VAT per month

Private, lockable, secure office space to accommodate teams of all sizes.  Located across 4 sites, all of our offices and light industrial spaces come unfurnished so you can style to your own taste.

Light Industrial Units from £630+ VAT per month

Our Mary Seacole Road site offers 3 buildings with office units and light industrial space available. These are arranged as units on the ground floor with smaller offices located above, which feature an open space gallery.

Co-working from £130 per month

£130 per month per person.  A desk of your own in a shared office, with free Wi-Fi and limitless tea and coffee. Set up a monitor or bring a plant – our hot desks in Plymouth are perfect for freelancers or growing companies!

Virtual Offices from £30 + VAT per month

Not ready to take premises yet? Have the benefit of an office address for your business by taking a Virtual Office with us.

Our Story

Our Story

The Millfields Trust was established in 1999 and is a trading Social Enterprise set up to help regenerate the Stonehouse neighbourhood in Plymouth. Our mission is to create life changing employment opportunities for the residents in the heart of Stonehouse and rejuvenate Union Street as a civic spine, restoring the historic link between the City and Devonport. 

We do this by providing a platform to enable SME’S to grow and develop, offering high quality affordable business space for rental on flexible terms. Our premises are designed to support emerging, small and medium sized enterprises across all sectors. Our business space is home to new, expanding and established organisation including the creative sector, third sector organisations and social enterprises.

The Millfields Trust has played a key role to maintain and enhance our reputation as Plymouths’ leading and pro-active Social Enterprise landlord in Plymouth. We have increased our asset base whilst supporting businesses to start, develop and grow. We have also gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in property management and community development through creating self-sustaining assets for the Stonehouse neighbourhood. Our efforts have been praised and recognised over the years, attracting investment into Plymouth evident by our supported partners. These include Plymouth City Council, European Union, Local Enterprise Partnership and Social Enterprise Mark.

Helping communities with Millfields Inspired

Millfields Inspired is a charity established and supported by the Millfields Trust.

Widening Horizons is an innovative programme which is delivered to the seven local primary schools located within the Stonehouse neighbourhood of Plymouth The programme supports and enables students to explore new and challenging learning experiences with visits to a number of different venues. Young people benefit from real life experiences where they can see, hear, touch and explore the world around them.

Supporting Plymouth's creative makers

MakersHQ is a Community Interest Company and a unique collaboration between Plymouth College of Art, Millfields Trust and the local Stonehouse community to reignite fashion and textiles manufacturing in the city.

Our vision is to create jobs and provide work opportunities through our sampling studio. All profits from this are reinvested into the provision of our training and education programmes. These focus on engaging and up-skilling the local community to support progression into education and employment within the fashion and textiles sector.

Sampling studio services include: pattern drafting, single samples, manual and digital pattern drafting and grading, and short production runs. 

Our training studio offers a diverse range of qualifications from entry level short courses to higher level apprenticeship programmes.  Find out more by visiting
